The appointments, previously arranged, are made from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 p.m. In case of emergency for anaesthesia, or other times than the ones mentioned, the patient will be hospitalised at the Victor Hugo Clinic, where all the surgeons regularly work.
Nurses carry out the post operative care during the appointments. The first post operative appointment usually takes place between the first and seventh day after the operation , depending on the type of therapeutic operation, pathology, field, and the distance of the patient's location. This is the right time to, besides checking the operative wounds and changing bandages, search for probable complications related to Local and Regional Anaesthesia.
